Mad over COLDPLAY again..

Lol yes i am!! One day i decided to re-watch their 2003 LIVE concert DVD and it reignited my interest in them once again.Seriously, they're a really talented band with most of their good songs coming from their older albums ''Parachutes" and "Rush of Blood to the Head".Dont get me wrong,Viva La Vida was good an'all but their older songs we're REALLY REALLY good, especially those ''hidden gems",not gonna include their well known songs here cus you guys probably know them already =P.Here they are...

One of my top Coldplay songs.I can TOTALLY relate to the lyrics! XD
Owh this one too!!

"TIME,its on your side, its on you siiiiidddeee" HAHAHA

I dunno,i just go into a bliss listening to these songs.Lyrics are something i can really connect with!haha Gonna listen to more COLDPLAY,the only way to really appreciate them is to listen to the lyrics 8D

Another poem i composed, but i opted for the other one rather than this one =)
EVERYTHINGS NOT LOST
When I counted up my demons
Saw there was one for everything i did
With the good ones on my shoulders
I drove the other ones away

When i thought that it was all over
And everything i did felt wasted
With everybody out to get me
Ill just remember the good days

So when i ever felt neglected
And when i thought that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons
Knowing that everything's not lost

Poetry Appreciation Night

Some are back in studies, some may be having holidays, but for me,it was a start of a whole new week for me(Once again).Nothing much cept for colloquim we had to stay back and rehearse for Poetry Night this coming Friday (Its some event the Form 6'es have to plan out, with some UM VIP coming).Spent the most of my time chilling with the peeps and flaunting my guitar playing infront of them XD

Unfortunately,we all had to compose a poem each for the nights event, and mine got chosen to be "deklamasikan" infront of everyone. It was awkward because mine was too over-cheesily romantic (Not that i was in anyway eh? =P)Here it goes.(Original version was in Malay, but i expressed it in English,it would sound better if it were in English anyway)XD

MY PROMISE-By yours truly XD

My promise to you,
When the world around you collapses,
and the sky loses its light,
and when your spirit has shattered,
Ill be there.

My promise to you,
In a world full of confusion and pain,
with no one to trust,
and no one who would help,

ill be your shelter.

But that time will come,
when you are ready,
and i would have to let go,
i can never embrace,
because you mean the world to me.

Destiny may have been set,
but my spirit persists,
full of sincerity,
full of hope,
Eventhough so,
I will never forget,my promise to you.

Extremely cheesy right? I dunno, when i started writing, the first thing that came to mind was a romance poem because they are pretty easy to write.(If you have a bible, reading Songs Of Songs would do nicely when writing a romance poem)So yeah,i have to ''express'' this out on Friday.Ugh.

I need inspiration.....for my guitar playing....bleh.

As much as i prefer transparency in everything i do,especially friendships and relationships, its tricky to get others into the mood of talking about what you think, cus I have a feeling im being avoided by someone =/.....or perhaps its my over-worrysome mind putting doubts into my thoughts again.Ugh it ALWAYS does that.I have problems with myself too~

Real skillz

THIS is why,in my opinion,acoustic/classical guitar music is always better than mind-numbing power chords and guitar solos. XD

Connections,connections

The funny thing about Subang ppl is that the network each person has is astonishingly wide.Just last Friday,Yih Shan ajaked me and Pav to come for lunch at Asia Cafe, unfortunately, only i could come, along with Wei Zheng and Jonathan.

There we met up with Chooi Si and Angela Lim as well.Heres the funny part.

Angela is Yih Shans ''seniour'' in A Levels since she started the course 6 months earlier,Pavitras good friend back in secondary school and even funnier was the fact that she was Chooi Si's "best friend" way back in secondary school. This was not to my knowledge as the whole time i only thought the ties were between Pavitra and Yih Shan.

So yeah,i met Angela, who was Pavitras good friend and whom Pavitra now is my ''girlfriend'' who just met Chooi Si during sports day in which Chooi Si was my classmate during Form 4 and 5 and Angela has ties with both of'em and i dont recall a single flash of memory in which Angela was involved during my primary school years.Awkward...

On another note,Jonathan Tan (My classmate in Form 6) knows David who is a friend of Chooi Si's.Networking is fun!!

HAH!

I just found out Will Ferrell is a Chelsea fan.HAH! Warms my heart.I love Chelsea FC,in fact im such a loyal guy XD Bleh~

Stupid apps

Lol,saw an app on Facebook thats pretty childish.Regardless,i hope one stupid app isnt enough to strain ties.If we're sincere and mature enough, petty things like this do little to harm or mess-up relationships between people. Its MUCH bigger than minor little stuff like this. =) Tsktsktsk...Facebook is funny sometimes.

Things i NEED to do

1.Workout (Can feel the STRENGTH but to mus-cles =P)

2.Study (I HATE math!)

3.PRAY more (Need those,no doubt)

=D

Update again!

Okay,so im gonna talk about the Man Utd match i went for yesterday.Took some pics albeit horribly blur ones (Check my Facebook). For a whole lot of obvious reasons,i was abit (but not very) pumped up about the match because atleast i got to see superstar footballers =P

So anyway,i went with Josman,Wei Zheng,Ji Soon and Keenan to the stadium which apparently wasnt as packed as it was on Saturday.Regardless, the stadium was red with the colours of Man Utd.In normal situations,i would be utterly revolted by what im seeing, but the hype of seeing superstar footballers was enough for me to overlook the situation.

Malaysians didnt play so well this time round, letting in 2 goals in the span of 3 minutes.Haha and the Malaysian players were SO SMALL in comparison to those European players.Federico Macheda,17 years old, hotter, fitter,TALLER than me X( The Malaysian players had trouble tackling those huge men! We Asians need to come up with some growth serum to grow bigger! Then again, its probably our HEALTHIER diet that keeps us smaller =P

Besides that,i actually came within METRES of seeing Michael Owen,Rooney and Co.It was heart-stopping despite the fact that they're Man Utd players.Too bad i didnt manage to take any pics......security was on to me =/

This morning i woke up,with a TONNE of weight in my head (DEAD sleepy) I ALMOST ALWAYS fall asleep in class nowadays!! *Reminiscent of my friend who ALWAYS sleeps in Bio lessons last year eh? =P*

In school i had to do this stupid tedious Chromatography experiment which was a TOTAL pain in the ass because just trying to get the leaf extract to form a perfect dot on the paper is nigh heart-breaking!!Anyway,it really spoilt my mood and all i really wanted to do was just go home.

I have this funny tendency to show my more so-called ''mature'' side to people when i first meet them, but im actually MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than that XD Just ask Pavitra and some of my classmates.I naturally dumb-down till i even make a fool out of myself sometimes especially when i once open up HAH!Nothing to blog about leh =S

Doing something awkard

I cant believe im going to see Man Utd,possibly the most pathetic club in the world.....today!! Apparently those Indonesian locals did a favour to their country by bombing the hotel in which Man Utd were suppose to stay in (Should have done it a day later XD) so those Red Devils are having a 2nd match here.

Will tell you guys more bout it once i went for it.
Last minute stuff.Hope i dont get ripped off.Deep down,my heart will always remain LOYAL to TRUE BLUE CHELSEA FC! =)

Update..

Well,i cant really talk bout much.Todays youth service message was okay.I wish i had cash to invest in Warhammer 40k (Some geeky uber expensive boardgame) and i have to plan that stupid ''Bulan Merdeka'' thingy XD When life is THIS simple (trust me,the only things complicating in my life now are my thoughts and Form 6 math) you just wanna add problems into it just to make it more interesting.

Now with music!

Not that im new to this (Im not =P),but i managed to get one of those song players for my blog! Feel free to check out the songs i love listening to.Dont worry, its all ear-friendly,no screaming or electric guitar distortion involved =)

Nothing to whine about =P

Well yeah, what do you expect? Im in school so the only thing i can blog about is school.

Its normal.

Students are fine, teachers are fine, work is fine. All is fine =) In fact its so fine i cant even see it! *lame joke*

Lol anyway,i realized my BEST FRIEND (Samsung YP-T9 mp4 player) now holds less and less rock songs.Got sick of rock like a few years back, got bored of it.Nowadays i look for variety, but i avoid what i usually hear on the radio and search for the ''goodstuff''.Haha

I just found out it was DESIREE who sang ''You Gotta Be''.Its one of those songs i really loved but just couldnt seem to catch the name at the last moment. And now i finally found it! hah!

Im blabbering bout this cus it turns out my friend just got ARES (I tried using it before, but it was gay) and is now seemingly staging an exodus of songs into her laptop.LOL

Music is good, especially if you search well and appreciate the depth.Im into instrumentals (Mostly guitar),if your interested, just nudge me or spam my cbox XD Id REALLY like to share my songs on the blog but i dont know how.Any ideas my beloved sexy readers? You know your hot cus im hot too *Winks*

Cute furry prehistoric mammals!!

My comparisons between two movies i watched one day after the other:Ice Age 3 and Transformers 2.

If you my dear reader, have not watched either of these 2,then id suggest, for a whole lot of reasons that you go watch.......ICE AGE 3! Nope my dear reader, its not a typo error. You read that right! Im actually suggesting you go watch furry mammoths and dumb sloths rather than big-ass robots rape the hell out of each other (And Megan Fox).

But why? How could the most anticipated block-buster of the year 2009,in my opinion, lose out to a seemingly modest sequel which didnt seem to excite the general public as much? How is it that the combined forces of Optimus Prime,Megatron,Bumblebee, and a whole host of giant robotic humanoids (Not to mention Megan Fox) lose out,in my opinion,to a bunch of cutesy prehistoric vertebrates?!

To the uninformed,Transformers 2 when first seen in trailers got the hormones of males (Megan Fox) and maybe a handful of females raging,as it was widely deemed the movie of the year to watch.

Sadly,my beloved reader,if you havent watched it yet,you are one of the rare few that has spared yourself 2.5 hours of your precious time, because, sadly to say,Transformers 2 was one of the BIGGEST disappointments in a movie i have watched in my 18 years on this planet.Apparently Michael Bay was playing safe, perhaps too safe or too predictable. After the monster success of the first movie (Which wasnt as bad as this one) i guess the title itself automatically meant a monster snowball of cash considering that people were in it JUST for the action (And Megan Fox).It couldve been a masterpiece, they shouldve kicked out Michael Bay (Not Megan Fox)and replaced him with a director who couldve placed in some DEPTH into the movie, heck,in fact,a whole lot of depth would have been very nice.Bleh~

Regardless, the movie was THAT shallow and the robots were more or less the whole reason to watch the movie (And Megan Fox).

ICE AGE 3 on the other hand, wasnt exactly the masterpiece either, but it had a clear straight-forward,non-nonsensical storyline and atleast a much better character development compared to their robotic counterparts. But the cream of this movie my friends, lies in the COMEDY,which to say the least,is nothing short of slap-on-the-lap funny.Even the subplot of the movie (Scrat the prehistoric squirrel chasing the acorn) was a much entertaining complement to the movie compared to *Cough*Megan Fox*Cough*

I mean seriously, the animation was good enough, and the characters were really cute!! The jokes were what got this movie standing on its feet. They were extremely lame and some were even smart but nontheless hilarious. If i had to watch a movie twice,id go for this one.*Hint*

So yeah,ICE AGE 3 atleast got the audience to laugh whereas Transformers 2 tries to stuff a barrel full of action into your head.Go watch Ice Age 3,do yourself a favour =)

On another note,i believe everyone deserves a chance, and that includes myself. Its unfair to block off someone when you havent seen him/her express herself the best way he/she can.People often dont try hard as much because they werent given the chance, sometimes it takes reaffirmation to truly open them up.Everyone deserves a chance..

The Truth

Ive always been sincere in my actions, whatever i thought and felt, grew from this.So it came naturally as time passed on,no doubt about it.
Nothing has changed,in fact,it couldnt be better. The only difference now is that she knows. It wont ever break, this i promise. Its bigger than how i feel but i wont deny it.
Regardless,my logic knows i dont need this now,it's genuine,so it'll last.I have bigger things to worry about..

Speaking my mind (Part III)

JENGJENGJENG! For the 1st time in my blog,my guitar will do the talking!hahha This crappy/unstructured song was composed in less than 10 minutes.I tried to express how i felt into the song the best way i could.Hope you guys like it =D

Yawn....

Nowadays i go to school ALMOST ALWAYS nodding off during lessons.Crap~

I have HORRIBLE stamina.I gotta work-out more, but i somehow just opt to laze around and serenade myself with melodies that pop-out of my head on my guitar.lol

Feel like a pampered little princess with little to no obligations (Accept homework).Life is so simple right now!
Things are really good at the moment.I thank God for everything =)

Lock-In 09

Okay,so for the uninformed,Lock-In is a one night church sleepover that i took part in on the 4th of July (Lol US Independence).I did take some pics, but i posted them on my Facebook.Feel free to check them out. =)

Anywho,i brought a whole backpack which i somehow overstuffed with my things (I have a tendency to over prepare stuff for trips),i straw mat and of course,my bed pillow (Which i drool on) XD

Coming around 6:20 p:m,i was surprised that most of the supposed attendees werent even there yet (Typical Malaysian).I met up with Chooi Si,Sue Mae,Julian and the rest as we prepared for a play which we were gonna act out (I was the bodyguard, very last minute stuff,i wasnt even part of the murder game)

The night was fun,had dinner then worship then we started off with the ice-breakers before the murder game started. The whole ordeal lasted up to 12:30.It was really fun, lazy to describe =P

We spent the following hours in one of the rooms sitting around a table and the guys (Including myself *winks*) taking turns to play the guitar and SINGING OUR HEARTS OUT! Haha,it was really good fun, played all sorts of contemporary songs.Hehe

But time flied like a rocket and it was time to go to sleep....the experience was not very good =/ If there's one thing im fussy about, its where im sleeping.Sadly all i brought was a straw mat and my pillow but no blanket. Some people are freaky being able to sleep in COLD air-cond plus STRONG fans, ugh.Sorry i have no fats,so i cant insulate myself very well.Only slept for 3 hours++

The Sunday morning didnt involve much apart from the group chilling in one of the rooms, and the murder game being concluded (Chooi Sis character was the murderer, judging by the way she looked, she liked her role eh?)

So that concludes the Lock-In for 2009,im hoping there will be an 2010 too,it wasnt grand, but i enjoyed myself nontheless ^^

Apart from that,i followed John Yen to some hobby store near Atria (A food court) to delve in the wonders of Warhammer 40k (A friggin expensive boardgame).Took lotsa pics which i posted on Facebook too.Im not really a fanatic of the game, but i just went to check it out for the fun of it,those figurines are total eye-candy!

Thats all for now dear readers, this week is gonna see me involved in MORE things than ever.(Form 6 Council meeting/gonna meet up with a potential contender on Tues,Friday is Ice-Age 3? and Saturday is Transformers 2/C.F Rally concert!) Take care~

Going the wrong direction..==''

Owh crap,have i met a dead-end?

This is bad, really bad.Maybe i was too laid-back or something, dont wanna completely lose the possibility.I dont get it,i just TURN-OFF or something,im usually not like this, especially with my Form 6 friends, with them i feel the ENERGY,the POW-AH,the Syok-Sendiriness XD.Dont get me wrong,im still myself my dear readers, somehow i just go into ''OFF'' mode.*Ask Pav,she should know*
For now, things are really cool, but in the coming months and years,i MUST try harder.I know its worth it. =) Ah well,in the end,i have nothing to lose anyway, hahaha

Besides that im planning to watch TRANSFORMERS 2 on 11th JULY!! Still inviting people.COME COME!
