Today,of all the days to get it,i develop a flu ==''
Went to church early in the morning to attend the christmas service and watch the dance/play.Although the sickness was really bad in the morning it died down i the afternoon =)
So yeah,i was there with the gang giving presents to only 2 people (Sorry guys, next year ill try to squeeze y'all in my budget la XD)and wishing the church peeps Merry Christmas.I got candy canes from quite a few people and a Christmas card from Yumey, its really LOL but also nice that she had to go through all the trouble just to make a card for me >< which made me feel very guilty.Lets not forget the present my buddy gave me which included my SUPER LATE Bday prez!
The play was interesting and when it got to the dance part, the guys managed to pull it off very well.Kudos to you guys! Vids are on Facebook~
After that we went for lunch then proceeded to AC for pool and foosball (Spelling?) before i headed home.
God has really blessed me this year, specially with preserverance.Although i may be alone at home now, this morning and afternoon has been a blessed enough day to make this Christmas a memorable one =)
P.S-Pics on Facebook as usual
~1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (NIV)~

Reunion with some friends
Yesterday (22nd December) me and my buddy went to Samuels crib to have a party with some old friends from Secondary school. The reunion was sweet enough,im glad i atleast managed to catch-up with some of them.Samuel and Yih Shan cooked up some stuffed chicken which was really good! But there was plenty of left-overs =P
Its great that all is fine with them and atleast not much hasnt changed yet since we last met.I guess its these type of friends that id really like to sit and ponder on the 'what-ifs'.They're really great people and everyone of them has added meaning to my life.
God works in awesome ways and who knows, perhaps in the near future i might become closer friends with anyone of them?Thats certainly the case for one of my friendships. Thanks to Yih Shan and Samuel for the invite. It was great seeing you guys there!
P.S Pictures are on Facebook,like always =D

FBC Youth Camp 2009
Like always,i dont post my pics here,so do check out my Facebook profile for the pics.
Its been 3 years since my last church camp and in-between that time,my journey has taken me from place to place. How God works in our lives is a real living force and how everything turned-out is nothing short of Gods intervention, ive been really blessed.
So yeah, there was a feeling of DeJaVu because we went to Pines Resort,Frasers Hill:The exact same place i had my last church camp at 3 years ago. That time,i guess i was more care-free and less serious about how i managed myself. How things have changed so quickly.
The trip up there took bout 2 1/2 hours and it wasnt so bad,i got a bad headache but that was about it,some of my friends had been really unsettled on the bus ride up because of the winding road =/
The speaker for this camp was pastor Justin Wong,a young dude from the US,it was really cool listening to his sessions and it brought much insight into my spiritual understanding.
We had activities like workshops,Treasure Hunts and Prayers walks,it was all really fun and i learnt alot, especially Prayer Walk, that one had alot of symbolic value to it.
I guess the one thing i learnt most from this camp is that TRUE discipleship will cost us alot in our lives,God has called upon all his children to spread his good news and by doing so,we have to make a sacrifice that we might be unwilling to.
Throughout the year, ive really been challenged by him to let go of some of the things in my life that i hold with such high regard. Its been a real struggle and even now i contemplate how much i have to lose, but my faith has carried me on and eventhough im get hurt and depressed sometimes,a little prayer always does the trick.
Its great that ive finally come to be a part of FBC church, and to top it all off with a camp finale just makes this year mean alot more to me,especially when ive spent it with 2 people who come closest to being my ''childhood'' friends.Thank God la =)

Boring week
Yeap, thats what VBS does to you, after a hype week, you suddenly plunge back into total boredom.Haha
Yknow, ive been through really tough times before, they get me down, depressed and confused sometimes. But i always bounce back.I think the one thing that God has shown me this year very clearly is that he ALWAYS ANSWERS MY PRAYERS.No matter what.
Its better most of the time to just leave tough times in his hands and wait, because solutions wont pop-up instantly.
The solution may not be direct and immediate, sometimes it will take MONTHS for something change, and how God answers your prayers may vary from being subtle to completely direct.
Count your blessings and you'll realize how much a blessed life you already live.Im still learning to do that but i know it works.
