Singing lessons

Recently i applied to learn singining @ The Singing Shop which is in Amcorp Mall.The reason?

Well my sis wanted to learn and she had to pay RM200.Its RM220 for 2 persons,now you know why? Cool...

So anyway we went there and to my surprise the teacher was Phillipino (Not that i had any problem with it).It seems that being Philippino meant that you can do apparently do one or more of these 4 things:

a)Sing

b)Act

c)Basketball

d)Dance

Well,being half Philippino,i can be excused for being NONE of them.Haha i feel like i have no culture in me,i cant even speak Chinese?!?

Anyway what i learnt:

There are five ways to project your voice-Head,Throat,Chest,Diaphragm and 1 more which i forgot

We all have three pitches-High,Low,Mid

According my teacher,my mid pitch can reach 3 1/2 octaves!! (Just to give you an idea of how well is that,Mariah Carey has a staggering 7 octaves) haha

My teachers voice really is VERY good,my sis and i were god-smacked when we both heard it,cus when he speaks normally,it sounds so timid and simple.

He gave me ''homework'' too.I had to sing this at home:

Josh Groban-To where you are

Larry Graham-One in a million

Both had ALOT to do with vibrato's which means pulling the last note of a verse for a certain amount of time.Need to practice the oxygen intake 1st =P

So yeah im enjoying myself.

Owh yeah i checked out my diary again,and im glad to say,im fulfilling MOST of my new years resolutions.Haha want more detail,go check out my Friendster blog,its somewhere there.

P.S-I somehow need to get more humans to notice this sad excuse of a blog.Hmm

What ive been up to..

Okay so you probably know by now that i have NOTHING to do apart from FINDING SUMTHING TO DO.SO yeah here's my weekly schedule...

Monday-ROT.If there are events/outings,i go
Tuesday-ROT
Wednesday-ROT
Thursday-ROT
Friday-ROT/Cell Group! I happy i finally can call 1 my own =) Its City Harvest cell group ^^
Saturday-ROT/Church/Shopping/Outing/etcetc Atleast SOMETHINGS happening
Sunday-Same as Saturday

Sometimes there's football matches,so i look forward to those in the weekend and occasionally,weekdays......WHAT? I know im sad.

Lol ive been listening to alot of finger-style music nowadays (Its a guitar style) Go Google Don Ross,Antoine Dufour or Tommy Emmanuel.LOVE THEM!!

P.S-Im suffering from writers block now,mind the quality of the post i just typed =P

Boredom

Okay so ill just re-cap what im doing now aight.

Firstly,i havent used this blog since May 07.I know thats long but its mainly cus i was lazy and had plenty of writers block then AND I FORGOT THE SIGN IN PASSWORD.Well times have changed and since then i started a blog in Friendster (Which apparently no one else is using =S) and i have finished form5 and i am rotting at home waiting for form6 to start.So yeah.

My 1st post just to give some life to this forsaken blog.Lol ill update from time to time.
